The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 3 played minutes Tori Põrgulised got a freekick which was hit by Mairo Kree. Osvald Kluge struck a weak shot in the 7th minute. Simo Narusson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hobesalu. With a little luck, Tori Põrgulised's Simo Narusson got control of the ball when Enar Roovik tried to sneak it across the goal line. Enar Roovik fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Simo Narusson having to interfere. Enar Roovik received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Simo Narusson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Tarmo Uusen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. If Enar Roovik had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Enar Roovik fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Simo Narusson having to interfere.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tarmo Uusen made a kick off. When Rando Lell fell near the penalty area in the 53rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tori Põrgulised's protests and gave Rando Lell a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Tori Põrgulised getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Rando Lell hit a great ball. In the 55th minute, Riho Uustalu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Simo Narusson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tarmo Uusen, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. After having played for 66 minutes, Tarmo Uusen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hobesalu's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tarmo Uusen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Tori Põrgulised's Mairo Kree got a free kick in the 67th minute. Enar Roovik received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Simo Narusson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 73rdth minute of the game Tarmo Uusen who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tori Põrgulised's Simo Narusson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Ervin Saamatu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hobesalu's supporters rose to their feet, but Ervin Saamatu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Simo Narusson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 90 played minutes Hobesalu got a freekick which was hit by Norman Uhtlik. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tom Uudekülg in the 94th minute of play forced Hobesalu's goalkeeper Oskar Mahlapuu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 98 minutes into the match, Hobesalu's Enar Roovik sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Simo Narusson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Hobesalu were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
