The tension between the Pärnu Linnameeskond and the Hobesalu players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Pärnu Linnameeskond getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Mattias Idavain hit a great ball. In the 8th minute the ball was on its way in behind Pärnu Linnameeskond's goalkeeper Rando Tara, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 10th minute, Enar Roovik made a precise shot to the right of Rando Tara. Pärnu Linnameeskond's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Anton Ansip received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Oskar Mahlapuu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tarmo Uusen in the 16th minute of play forced Pärnu Linnameeskond's goalkeeper Rando Tara to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rando Tara stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Enar Roovik's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. Osvald Kluge kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. In the 30th minute of the match Otto Pukk sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rando Tara skillfully saved the ball. If Tarmo Uusen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Valmar Linnus hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Tarmo Uusen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Pärnu Linnameeskond's Anton Ansip got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Enar Roovik fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rando Tara having to interfere. After 40 played minutes Pärnu Linnameeskond got a freekick which was hit by Henri Lest. After a rather tough play, Pärnu Linnameeskond's Henri Lest got a free kick in the 45th minute.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tarmo Uusen to make the kick off. Tauri Avaja hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Valmar Linnus took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 56th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Oskar Mahlapuu. Hobesalu's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Tarmo Uusen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Oskar Mahlapuu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Robi Leo, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Enar Roovik got free with Rando Tara in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Robi Leo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oskar Mahlapuu having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anton Ansip in the 66th minute of play forced Hobesalu's goalkeeper Oskar Mahlapuu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 68 minutes, Enar Roovik managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hobesalu's supporters crossed their fingers, but Enar Roovik was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 77th minute, Enar Roovik hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 79 minutes into the match, Pärnu Linnameeskond's goalkeeper Rando Tara had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tarmo Uusen. Rando Tara made a fantastic save in the 81st minute, when Enar Roovik sent off a good shot on target. 84 minutes into the game, Tarmo Uusen cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Rando Tara was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Anton Ansip struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Oskar Mahlapuu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pärnu Linnameeskond. Pärnu Linnameeskond's Rando Tara played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tarmo Uusen in the 94th minute of play. Tarmo Uusen received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Rando Tara came out and tried to block the shot, but Tarmo Uusen slotted it home off the left post making it 0-3 in the 96th minute.
