Uku Lusik showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erni Jõeäär, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Paavo Kargu hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Erni Jõeäär managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mekhe's supporters rose to their feet, but Erni Jõeäär was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Uku Lusik breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Sulev Lekk struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Ergo Looga didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for RedBull Estonia. After 28 minutes of play, Mekhe's Taavet Emane made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Uku Lusik was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, Mekhe's Tarmo Paabo got a free kick in the 30th minute. When Tambet Vonk came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the RedBull Estonia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tambet Vonk couldn't finish the play. Tambet Vonk recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Erni Jõeäär made a kick off. If Sulev Lekk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of RedBull Estonia booed when Mekhe was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tarmo Paabo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mekhe's Ergo Looga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sulev Lekk in the 69th minute of play. Erni Jõeäär's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Uku Lusik read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 75th minute of play. Sulev Lekk fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ergo Looga having to interfere. In the 79th minute, Timo Hirm hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mekhe's Taavet Emane managed to work through RedBull Estonia's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Taavet Emane dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. After 86 played minutes RedBull Estonia got a freekick which was hit by Tambet Vonk. Erni Jõeäär received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Uku Lusik tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Taavet Emane got free with Uku Lusik in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 91st minute, Erni Jõeäär got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 93 minutes into the match, RedBull Estonia's goalkeeper Uku Lusik had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Taavet Emane. In the 95th minute, Sulev Lekk made a precise shot to the right of Ergo Looga. Mekhe's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
