Spectators: 6718 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1718, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Urmo Ülend kicked off to start the match. 6 minutes into the game, Mario Suurkaev was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Peantse's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sheffield Utd the free kick. After having played for 21 minutes, Antti Juurikas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sheffield Utd's supporters crossed their fingers, but Antti Juurikas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Sheffield Utd's Otto Härmi got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sheffield Utd's Toomas Veerma played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Urmo Ülend in the 41st minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

In the 52nd match minute, Sheffield Utd was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Väino Raitviir to maneuver through the defense. Mait Mustpea hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. When Otto Härmi came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Sheffield Utd fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Otto Härmi couldn't finish the play. Leo Leho made an important save on a dangerous shot by Antti Juurikas in the 68th minute. Antti Juurikas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 73rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Sheffield Utd's goalkeeper Toomas Veerma, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 77 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Sheffield Utd! After 81 minutes, Haarald Viitkar mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Peantse and the Sheffield Utd players grew even worse after the yellow card. Antti Juurikas's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Leo Leho firmly grabbed it by the left post. Sheffield Utd's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
