The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With his leg Mateusz Domala managed to avoid a goal in the 6thth minute, when Kopelmani JK's Kristofer Kaljuvee fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Villu Merioja received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Joel Paat tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Kopelmani JK's zone, Priidu Hõbe stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joel Paat came out of the goal and Priidu Hõbe tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Villu Merioja received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Joel Paat tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Priidu Hõbe's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Joel Paat read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 20th minute of play. When Villu Merioja came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the Viljandi JK Tulevik fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Villu Merioja couldn't finish the play. If Villu Merioja had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mateusz Domala made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Kristofer Kaljuvee sent off a good shot on target. In the 32nd minute, Ervin Nool made a precise shot to the right of Joel Paat. Kopelmani JK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. 35 minutes into the game, Priidu Hõbe was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Viljandi JK Tulevik's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kopelmani JK the free kick. When Olev Leesi fell near the penalty area in the 39th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kopelmani JK's protests and gave Olev Leesi a yellow card for diving instead. After 39 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Kopelmani JK! In the 41st minute there was a penalty for Viljandi JK Tulevik. Kevin Looze stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Joel Paat. 0-2. Vahur Ütt struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Mateusz Domala didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kopelmani JK.

53 minutes into the game, Viljandi JK Tulevik's Villu Merioja nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Joel Paat made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Janis Kääramees in the 61st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mateusz Domala prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Villu Merioja came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Viljandi JK Tulevik fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Villu Merioja couldn't finish the play. Villu Merioja could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 69th minute of the match, but Joel Paat made a huge save. If Kristofer Kaljuvee had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mateusz Domala took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Janis Kääramees, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kopelmani JK's Joel Paat played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Priidu Hõbe in the 75th minute of play. If Janis Kääramees had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
