In the 23rd minute, Andre Niidu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kayera's Raimond Aavasalu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 39th minute of the match, managed to save Kayera from getting a goal against them. In the 42nd minute Raimo Väljaste shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Olav Aun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aivar Muretu struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Raimond Aavasalu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SK Torken. In the 48th minute, Aivar Muretu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SK Torken fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Reino Tuus was the one to do the kick off. Reino Tuus might have been able to make a better finish in the 66th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Raimond Aavasalu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Reino Tuus ran back to his position shaking his head. Aivar Muretu scored 2-0 in the 68th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Raimond Aavasalu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Raimo Väljaste might have been able to make a better finish in the 73rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Olav Aun. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Raimo Väljaste ran back to his position shaking his head. After a rather tough play, SK Torken's Veiko Volberg got a free kick in the 74th minute. Reino Tuus made in the 79th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Andre Niidu immediately put the ball in play. Reino Tuus got a throw-in 85 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Aivar Muretu. Raimo Väljaste received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Olav Aun tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Andre Niidu didn't quite understand what happened when in the 89 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. When Aivar Muretu came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the SK Torken fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aivar Muretu couldn't finish the play. Andre Niidu fired away a difficult shot at goal in the 94th minute. He almost succeeded, but the ball went over. It was a very nice shot. Reino Tuus's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Raimond Aavasalu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 98th minute of play.
