In the 10th minute, Tarmo Kaljus hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 16 minutes into the match, Tiit Tälli had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dan Taaber. Tallinna Lõvid's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tiit Tälli was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. If Tarmo Kaljus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 21st minute, Johannes Algaja ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dan Taaber was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. After 25 minutes of play, FC Võnnu Devils's Lennart Jaakson made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dan Taaber was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to FC Võnnu Devils getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Indrek Esko hit a great ball. Dan Taaber made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joe Muruaas in the 32nd minute of play. In the 33rd minute, Joe Muruaas left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Võnnu Devils fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. In the 37thth minute of the game Tiit Tälli who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tallinna Lõvid's Dan Taaber was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 38th minute Tiit Tälli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dan Taaber saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lennart Jaakson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dan Taaber showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joe Muruaas in the 42nd minute of the match. Tiit Tälli recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Johannes Algaja had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Alvin Saabas to strike the kick off in the second half. Dan Taaber was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Lennart Jaakson showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-5 in the 51 minute of play. Tarmo Kaljus sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After having played for 57 minutes, Alvin Saabas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tallinna Lõvid's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alvin Saabas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Dan Taaber showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tiit Tälli in the 61st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lennart Jaakson in the 70th minute of play forced Tallinna Lõvid's goalkeeper Dan Taaber to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 78th minute the ball was on its way in behind Tallinna Lõvid's goalkeeper Dan Taaber, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After having played for 81 minutes, Alvin Saabas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tallinna Lõvid's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alvin Saabas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Tallinna Lõvid booed when FC Võnnu Devils was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tiit Tälli didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alvin Saabas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Innar Mustikas having to interfere. Tiit Tälli in the 87thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Dan Taaber, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Innar Mustikas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alvin Saabas in the 88th minute of play. Dan Taaber made an important save on a dangerous shot by Johannes Algaja in the 90th minute. FC Võnnu Devils's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
