SK Vihi's Innar Ämarik played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hendrik Luht in the 13th minute of play. When Otto Nurmeots came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the SK Vihi fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Otto Nurmeots couldn't finish the play. In the 16th minute Madis Raudam shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Timo Seitse saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. SK Vihi's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Mehis Kalenik in the 23rd minute. Eimar Äss kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. S.S.Bobik's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Otto Nurmeots managed to get in a good position for a shot. SK Vihi's supporters rose to their feet, but Otto Nurmeots was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Timo Seitse breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 38 minutes into the match, Bruno Imelik had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Innar Ämarik. SK Vihi's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bruno Imelik was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. After a defensive mix-up in S.S.Bobik's zone, Madis Raudam stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Timo Seitse came out of the goal and Madis Raudam tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 48 minutes into the match, Bruno Imelik notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of SK Vihi's Innar Ämarik. Innar Ämarik was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Otto Nurmeots was the one to do the kick off. 57 minutes into the match, Hendrik Luht notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of SK Vihi's Innar Ämarik. Bruno Imelik received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Innar Ämarik tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kristjan Raja kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. Timo Seitse showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Otto Nurmeots, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. Hendrik Luht recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of S.S.Bobik booed when SK Vihi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arto Niitsoo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Madis Raudam showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-2. Hendrik Luht received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 99th minute. Innar Ämarik tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. SK Vihi's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
