After 26 played minutes, JK Pärna Torn's Janar Liib shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Härmo Viigipuu came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in JK Pärna Torn reached it. Arnold Kipper made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Sten Oit sent off a good shot on target. With a little luck, JK Pärna Torn's Arnold Kipper got control of the ball when Sten Oit tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 39th match minute, Kulaaseme was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Priit Alviste to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the Kulaaseme defense, Erik Vooglaid kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Härmo Viigipuu. The Kulaaseme fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Härmo Viigipuu should have stopped the shot. Uku Univer could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Arnold Kipper made a huge save.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Erik Vooglaid to make the kick off. After 52 played minutes JK Pärna Torn got a freekick which was hit by Arni Mänd. A collision led to Kulaaseme getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Priit Alviste hit a great ball. Härmo Viigipuu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erik Vooglaid, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Aimar Ragel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Arnold Kipper tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tauno Remmelgas got free with Härmo Viigipuu in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Arnold Kipper made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sten Oit in the 66th minute of play. Hardi Viitkar hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Aimar Ragel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arnold Kipper having to interfere. Tauno Remmelgas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Härmo Viigipuu having to interfere. Erik Vooglaid sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing JK Pärna Torn would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
