Bruno Lehis started the match with the kick off. After having played for 3 minutes, Sten Oit managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kulaaseme's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sten Oit was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gabriel Vessmann sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 10th minute, Arto Kaare hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 14th minute the ball was on its way in behind La Furia Roja's goalkeeper Kusti Agu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Aimar Ragel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kusti Agu having to interfere. In the 23rd minute Bruno Lehis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Härmo Viigipuu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bruno Lehis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bruno Lehis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Härmo Viigipuu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hardi Viitkar kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. In the 30th minute, Agur Uusnurm sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Kulaaseme's Härmo Viigipuu didn't even have to move. Bruno Lehis was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 32nd minute. La Furia Roja's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Sten Oit took the ball and in the 45 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Kusti Agu. Kusti Agu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Holger Hiisjärv in the 55th minute of play forced Kulaaseme's goalkeeper Härmo Viigipuu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 57 minutes, Bruno Lehis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. La Furia Roja's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bruno Lehis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in La Furia Roja's zone, Sten Oit stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kusti Agu came out of the goal and Sten Oit tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Aimar Ragel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 71st minute, Gabriel Vessmann ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Härmo Viigipuu was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. After 82 played minutes La Furia Roja got a freekick which was hit by Arto Kaare. Härmo Viigipuu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bruno Lehis's shot from short distance in the 94th minute. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
