In the 14th match minute, FC D was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tarmo Lepp to maneuver through the defense. Aadu Niinemets recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Alari Ragel hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pearu Ansip in the 22nd minute of play forced FC D's goalkeeper Tauno Rea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ain Põld charged in rather forcefully in the 22nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ain Põld the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Vahtseliina FC booed when FC D was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ain Põld didn't get a good kick on the ball. Elmu Annion received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Tauno Rea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vahtseliina FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Elmu Annion was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tauno Rea breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Elmu Annion had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tauno Rea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pearu Ansip in the 49th minute of the match. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Avo Aas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Armin Seen, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. When Ergo Üits fell near the penalty area in the 56th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC D's protests and gave Ergo Üits a yellow card for diving instead. Ergo Üits kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. If Elmu Annion had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 60 minutes into the match, Pearu Ansip dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Tauno Rea, 0-1. Tauno Rea made an important save on a dangerous shot by Elmu Annion in the 66th minute. In the 68th match minute, Vahtseliina FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pearu Ansip to maneuver through the defense. Kunnar Mari kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in FC D reached it. After 75 played minutes Vahtseliina FC got a freekick which was hit by Raivo Karus. After a defensive mix-up in Vahtseliina FC's zone, Erni Trummi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Avo Aas came out of the goal and Erni Trummi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 76 minutes, Andres Kluge mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Vahtseliina FC and the FC D players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Vahtseliina FC's Andres Kluge got a free kick in the 76th minute. If Armin Seen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Elmu Annion managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vahtseliina FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Elmu Annion was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tauno Rea breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 82 played minutes Pearu Ansip rounded FC D's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-2. Elmu Annion could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Tauno Rea made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Elmu Annion got free with Tauno Rea in the 93rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kunnar Mari in the 95th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tauno Rea saved FC D from getting behind. When the match was over Vahtseliina FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than FC D throughout the match.
