In the 6th minute the ball was on its way in behind SC Veretina's goalkeeper Rainer Kampus, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Paavo Lang sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 12 minutes into the game, Albert Heinsalu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Entse's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SC Veretina the free kick. A collision led to FC Entse getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Albert Heinsalu hit a great ball. Heiki Rihma took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 13th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Argo Pärna. FC Entse's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Argo Pärna didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Aivar Kaalep went, in the 14th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Aadu Rohumaa kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. 23 minutes into the match, Eldur Noorik notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of SC Veretina's Rainer Kampus. Rainer Kampus was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Argo Pärna made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alo Nugis in the 26th minute of play. If Eldur Noorik had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Argo Pärna showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alo Nugis in the 46th minute of the match. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Rainer Kampus made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eldur Noorik in the 66th minute of play. Joosep Luik's late challenge caught a FC Entse's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Joosep Luik helped the player get up and apologised. Joosep Luik hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. After having played for 76 minutes, Märt Laaser managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Veretina's supporters crossed their fingers, but Märt Laaser was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Albert Heinsalu struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Rainer Kampus didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Entse. In the 80th minute, Eldur Noorik got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Märt Laaser got free with Argo Pärna in the 83rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Eldur Noorik had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
