Elmut Kender could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 7th minute of the match, but Argo Pärna made a huge save. When Innar Nirk came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the Pangodi fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Innar Nirk couldn't finish the play. Paavo Lang recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. FC Entse's Paavo Lang got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Eldur Noorik sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Argo Pärna showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Innar Nirk, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Arni Kaljumäe was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 28 minutes into the match. 28 minutes into the game, one of FC Entse:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Argo Pärna showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eedi Teras, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. A very good chance. Elmut Kender fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Argo Pärna having to interfere. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Innar Nirk stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Innar Nirk in the 53rd minute of play forced FC Entse's goalkeeper Argo Pärna to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to FC Entse getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Kalju Rillo hit a great ball. 63 minutes into the match, FC Entse's goal looked a bit too open when Elmut Kender came free, but Argo Pärna reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
