The referee ignored Anijala's protests and gave Alvar Koppelmaa a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Anijala getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Alvar Koppelmaa hit a great ball. Villu Kodu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Väino Linnus in the 9th minute of play forced FC Denture Goblins's goalkeeper Ando Varendi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ander Karbo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Karmo Mari having to interfere. 23 minutes into the match, Väino Linnus had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ando Varendi. In the 33rd minute, Ander Karbo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a little luck, Anijala's Karmo Mari got control of the ball when Ander Karbo tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Väino Linnus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ander Karbo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Karmo Mari having to interfere. In the 45thth minute of the game Väino Linnus who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Denture Goblins's Ando Varendi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Väino Linnus made a kick off. Ando Varendi was a little too slow when Väino Linnus got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 53rd minute. The score was now 0-2. In the 63rd minute Ander Karbo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Karmo Mari saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Anijala's Karmo Mari played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Villu Kodu in the 65th minute of play. 66 minutes into the game, Märten Just was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Anijala's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Denture Goblins the free kick. In the 66th match minute, Anijala was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Märten Just to maneuver through the defense. In the 68th minute, Villu Kodu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 83 minutes, Paul Kaljus managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Anijala's supporters crossed their fingers, but Paul Kaljus was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Karmo Mari made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Villu Kodu in the 87th minute of play. Väino Linnus received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ando Varendi came out and tried to block the shot, but Väino Linnus slotted it home off the left post making it 0-4 in the 89th minute.
