Kaido Salmistu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sten Vabamüürlane having to interfere. Ago Lang was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 11th minute. Kaerso SK's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Maido Maamägi's late challenge caught a Kaerso SK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Maido Maamägi helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to JK Päheandjad getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Maido Maamägi hit a great ball. Sten Vabamüürlane made a fantastic save in the 14th minute, when Kaido Salmistu sent off a good shot on target. 22 minutes into the match, Kaerso SK's goal looked a bit too open when Agur Laja came free, but Tanel Valgur reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Agur Laja scored 1-1 in the 24th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tanel Valgur, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Kaido Salmistu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Sten Vabamüürlane tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ago Lang might have been able to make a better finish in the 46th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sten Vabamüürlane. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ago Lang ran back to his position shaking his head.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Valdo Raudjärv stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Sten Vabamüürlane showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ago Lang in the 57th minute of the match. The supporters of Kaerso SK booed when JK Päheandjad was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Agur Laja didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Kaerso SK getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Lennart Näksi hit a great ball. Agur Laja struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Tanel Valgur didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for JK Päheandjad. 66 minutes into the match, Kaido Salmistu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sten Vabamüürlane. JK Päheandjad's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Kaido Salmistu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Agur Laja sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Kaerso SK getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Ahti Arujärv hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Valdo Raudjärv in the 74th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tanel Valgur saved Kaerso SK from getting behind. 76 minutes into the match, Kaerso SK's goal looked a bit too open when Valdo Raudjärv came free, but Tanel Valgur reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 78thth minute of the game Kaido Salmistu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but JK Päheandjad's Sten Vabamüürlane was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Valdo Raudjärv had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Kaerso SK's zone, Agur Laja stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tanel Valgur came out of the goal and Agur Laja tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Kaerso SK's Lennart Näksi got a free kick in the 86th minute. After a defensive mix-up in JK Päheandjad's zone, Ago Lang stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sten Vabamüürlane came out of the goal and Ago Lang tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 92nd minute, Kaido Salmistu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Kaerso SK had won after a very even match.
