Seating: 1727, VIP seats: 150) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Ülo Veermäe kicked off to start the match. Jan Kuusik received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Märten Kuuse tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Ants Kuuse had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jarmo Pangsepp's late challenge caught a FC Rakvik's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jarmo Pangsepp helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of FC Rakvik booed when Karlova was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jarmo Pangsepp didn't get a good kick on the ball. After recieving a nice pass, FC Rakvik's Sergo Hiie tried to score from far away in the 12th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Ants Kuuse sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. During the 14th minute of the match Jarmo Pangsepp completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Jarmo Pangsepp a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After a rather tough play, Karlova's Jarmo Pangsepp got a free kick in the 15th minute. Märten Kuuse made a fantastic save in the 16th minute, when Jan Kuusik sent off a good shot on target. The crowd rose to their feet as Ants Kuuse kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Märten Kuuse. That made the score 1-0 in the 19 minute of play. Märten Kuuse took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ants Kuuse, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. FC Rakvik's Kuuno Idarand played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ken Valinu in the 27th minute of play. In the 29th play minute Jan Kuusik came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Märten Kuuse. 2-0. Ants Kuuse's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Märten Kuuse read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 35th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ken Valinu in the 38th minute of play forced FC Rakvik's goalkeeper Kuuno Idarand to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ken Valinu charged in rather forcefully in the 47th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ken Valinu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ken Valinu kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ants Kuuse made a kick off. 57 minutes into the game, Karlova's Ken Valinu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Kuuno Idarand made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. After 62 played minutes FC Rakvik got a freekick which was hit by Sergo Hiie. In the 65th minute, Karlova's Ken Valinu dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-2. In the 71st minute, Jan Kuusik got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 74th match minute, Karlova was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kardo Vellend to maneuver through the defense. In the 78th minute, Karlova's Aivar Jors seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Aivar Jors the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Karlova protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Aivar Jors had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. 78 minutes into the game, one of Karlova:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. 86 minutes into the match, Ants Kuuse had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Märten Kuuse. Karlova's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ants Kuuse was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-2. Jan Kuusik fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Märten Kuuse having to interfere. In the 94th minute Ants Kuuse shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Märten Kuuse saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ants Kuuse fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Märten Kuuse having to interfere. 99 minutes into the match, Karlova's goal looked a bit too open when Ants Kuuse came free, but Märten Kuuse reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The FC Rakvik fans cheered their team off the field, for while Karlova had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
