To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 12 minutes into the game, Leo Haav was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Hindu JK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Haapsalu JK the free kick. A collision led to Hindu JK getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Leo Haav hit a great ball. Mairo Külaase sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 19th minute, Leo Link hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 21 played minutes Hindu JK got a freekick which was hit by Leo Haav. 22 minutes into the match, Mairo Külaase notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Hindu JK's Jakob Uusnurm. Jakob Uusnurm was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Endel Einla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mairo Külaase might have been able to make a better finish in the 28th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jakob Uusnurm. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Endel Einla to strike the kick off in the second half. Kaimo Vaas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute.
