In the 5th minute, Üllar Elts got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jan Kuusik received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Kuido Erapart tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of FC Rakvik booed when Southampton Rangers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ivari Hälvik didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Lauri Kaljumäe fell near the penalty area in the 12th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Southampton Rangers's protests and gave Lauri Kaljumäe a yellow card for diving instead. In the 12th minute, Lauri Kaljumäe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Lauri Kaljumäe was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 15 minutes had been played. The supporters of FC Rakvik booed when Southampton Rangers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lauri Kaljumäe didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kaspar Noormets fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kuido Erapart having to interfere. Southampton Rangers's Kuido Erapart played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jan Kuusik in the 19th minute of play. Kuuno Idarand made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ivari Hälvik in the 24th minute of play. After having played for 28 minutes, Margus Lauter managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Southampton Rangers's supporters crossed their fingers, but Margus Lauter was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jan Kuusik fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kuido Erapart having to interfere. In the 35thth minute of the game Jan Kuusik who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Southampton Rangers's Kuido Erapart was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 38th match minute, FC Rakvik was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Peedu Hani to maneuver through the defense. Kuuno Idarand acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 39th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Paavo Nõmmsalu. After a defensive mix-up in FC Rakvik's zone, Joosep Lossimäe stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kuuno Idarand came out of the goal and Joosep Lossimäe tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 42nd match minute, FC Rakvik was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Peedu Hani to maneuver through the defense. In the 45th minute, Kalev Alas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Kaspar Noormets came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the FC Rakvik fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kaspar Noormets couldn't finish the play. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jan Kuusik made a kick off. Kaspar Noormets could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Kuido Erapart made a huge save. A collision led to Southampton Rangers getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Ivari Hälvik hit a great ball. In the 56th minute of the match FC Rakvik got a corner. Southampton Rangers's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Sergo Hiie ran over to the corner to take the kick. After a rather tough play, Southampton Rangers's Kalev Alas got a free kick in the 59th minute. FC Rakvik's Kaspar Noormets got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Urmet Rüütel hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. 67 minutes into the match, FC Rakvik's goal looked a bit too open when Margus Lauter came free, but Kuuno Idarand reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Margus Lauter received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Kuuno Idarand tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Üllar Elts had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 72 minutes, Ants Kuuse mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Rakvik and the Southampton Rangers players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Southampton Rangers booed when FC Rakvik was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ants Kuuse didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 82nd minute, Kris Koppelmaa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Kuuno Idarand took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Margus Lauter, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 87th minute, Jan Kuusik hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 90 minutes into the match, Margus Lauter notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of FC Rakvik's Kuuno Idarand. Kuuno Idarand was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kaspar Noormets got free with Kuido Erapart in the 96th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Southampton Rangers's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
