Margus Lauter could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but Agur Võsoberg made a huge save. Margus Lauter succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 13th playminute. Margus Lauter blasted a shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Agur Võsoberg having to make a save. Lembit Teraväe's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kuido Erapart read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 29th minute of play. When Joosep Lossimäe fell near the penalty area in the 30th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Southampton Rangers's protests and gave Joosep Lossimäe a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of FC Eurost booed when Southampton Rangers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joosep Lossimäe didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 31 played minutes, FC Eurost's Ernst Rink shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Kuido Erapart came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in FC Eurost reached it. Kaupo Kips sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. Margus Lauter recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. FC Eurost's Lembit Teraväe got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 98th minute the ball was on its way in behind Southampton Rangers's goalkeeper Kuido Erapart, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Southampton Rangers's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
