Fc lambikad's Hans Remmelgas couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 14th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for FC KirKar. Rando Vanatoa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Arvo Vaima tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 18 minutes, Teet Kaarna managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fc lambikad's supporters crossed their fingers, but Teet Kaarna was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to FC KirKar getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Martti Pihlak hit a great ball. With splendid footwork Teet Kaarna arrived in front of goal to shoot 1-0 by the left pole in the game's 20th minute. The supporters of FC KirKar booed when Fc lambikad was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Koit Lass didn't get a good kick on the ball. Magnus Mineja struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Kiur Oja didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC KirKar. In the 34th minute, Georg Ernesaks hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 36 played minutes Fc lambikad got a freekick which was hit by Hans Remmelgas. Teet Kaarna received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Arvo Vaima tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Teet Kaarna's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Arvo Vaima was relentless in the 44th minute of the game. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Teet Kaarna was the one to do the kick off. In the 54th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC KirKar's goalkeeper Arvo Vaima, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Fc lambikad's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Hans Remmelgas in the 56th minute. A nice corner shot did that Sulev Laanelepp got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Arvo Vaima quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Martti Pihlak's late challenge caught a Fc lambikad's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Martti Pihlak helped the player get up and apologised. After 58 played minutes FC KirKar got a freekick which was hit by Martti Pihlak. 59 minutes into the match, Fc lambikad's Hans Remmelgas broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Arvo Vaima took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Risto Hobune, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Teet Kaarna in the 72nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Arvo Vaima prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Teet Kaarna fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arvo Vaima having to interfere. Teet Kaarna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Teet Kaarna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 84 minutes into the match, Teet Kaarna had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Arvo Vaima. FC KirKar's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Teet Kaarna was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2.
