The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kalev Leho in the 12th minute of play forced SK Kiritu's goalkeeper Tarvi Kaalikas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Paul Allikmäe kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. Tarvi Kaalikas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kalev Leho in the 15th minute of the match. If Sulev Pärtna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 20th minute, Jass Nurk hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 21 played minutes, Kivijarve's Edmund Vananurm shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Tarvi Kaalikas came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Kivijarve reached it. Kalev Leho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tarvi Kaalikas having to interfere. SK Kiritu's Tarvi Kaalikas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sulev Pärtna in the 26th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Kivijarve's zone, Valmar Kirsimäe stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Uudo Virks came out of the goal and Valmar Kirsimäe tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tarvi Kaalikas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kalev Leho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 34 minutes into the game, Taavi Krooni was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SK Kiritu's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kivijarve the free kick. In a very dangerous position, a player in SK Kiritu fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 34th minute. Penalty! In the 37th minute there was a penalty for Kivijarve. Edmund Vananurm stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Tarvi Kaalikas. 0-2. Innar Avitaja kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. Uudo Virks was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Ailar Ärm showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-2 in the 43 minute of play.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ailar Ärm made a kick off. The long shot by Paavo Remmel in the 56th minute really tested Tarvi Kaalikas's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. In the 62nd match minute, SK Kiritu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jass Nurk to maneuver through the defense. Kalev Leho's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 63rdth minute, Tarvi Kaalikas skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 64 minutes into the game, Jass Nurk was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SK Kiritu's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kivijarve the free kick. 66 minutes into the match, SK Kiritu's goal looked a bit too open when Sulev Pärtna came free, but Tarvi Kaalikas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Valmar Kirsimäe took the ball and in the 71 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Uudo Virks. Uudo Virks dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Sulev Pärtna managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kivijarve's supporters rose to their feet, but Sulev Pärtna was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tarvi Kaalikas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. SK Kiritu were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Kivijarve for a fine match.
