The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute of the match Volli Ilves shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gerd Veiler showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 7 minutes into the match, Jalgpallikool's goal looked a bit too open when Harri Raudsoo came free, but Gerd Veiler reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 12 minutes, Harri Raudsoo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Martsa's supporters crossed their fingers, but Harri Raudsoo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gerd Veiler made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Harri Raudsoo in the 14th minute of play. Gert Luht recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 17 minutes, Sergo Mustikas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Jalgpallikool and the Martsa players grew even worse after the yellow card. Sergo Mustikas hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. When Martsa's Gert Luht in the 19th minute got a chance for a shot 19th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Jalgpallikool's goalie prevented a goal. Gerd Veiler showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Harri Raudsoo, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. After 27 minutes of play Jalgpallikool's Sergo Mustikas was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 28th match minute, Jalgpallikool was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sergo Mustikas to maneuver through the defense. In the 28th minute of the match Volli Ilves shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gerd Veiler showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Gerd Veiler showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gert Luht, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Mark Urbalu made a fantastic save in the 33rd minute, when Kalvi Tihumets sent off a good shot on target. Gert Luht might have been able to make a better finish in the 38th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gerd Veiler. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gert Luht ran back to his position shaking his head. After some careless play in the Jalgpallikool defense, Harri Raudsoo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gerd Veiler. The Jalgpallikool fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gerd Veiler should have stopped the shot. Martsa's Harri Raudsoo got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gerd Veiler showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gert Luht in the 46th minute of the match.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Harri Raudsoo to strike the kick off in the second half. Gert Luht could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Gerd Veiler made a huge save. In the 55th minute, Harri Raudsoo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 56 played minutes Jalgpallikool got a freekick which was hit by Ivo Vooglaid. With his leg Gerd Veiler managed to avoid a goal in the 58thth minute, when Martsa's Gert Luht fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After a rather tough play, Jalgpallikool's Ivo Vooglaid got a free kick in the 59th minute. Gerd Veiler made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gert Luht in the 61st minute. Harri Raudsoo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gerd Veiler having to interfere. In the 64th minute, Andri Lange hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Martsa booed when Jalgpallikool was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sven Äss didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Gert Luht came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the Martsa fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gert Luht couldn't finish the play. If Gert Luht had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Harri Raudsoo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Martsa's supporters rose to their feet, but Harri Raudsoo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gerd Veiler breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gerd Veiler showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Harri Raudsoo in the 84th minute of the match. When Ivo Vooglaid fell near the penalty area in the 85th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Jalgpallikool's protests and gave Ivo Vooglaid a yellow card for diving instead. Ivo Vooglaid kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. Mark Urbalu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kalvi Tihumets in the 90th minute of play. If Gert Luht had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Harri Raudsoo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Jalgpallikool's zone, Enar Arulepp stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gerd Veiler came out of the goal and Enar Arulepp tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Jalgpallikool fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Martsa were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
