When Sergo Mustikas fell near the penalty area in the 5th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Jalgpallikool's protests and gave Sergo Mustikas a yellow card for diving instead. Pavel Alviste recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Pavel Alviste fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gerd Veiler having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in JK Kohala's zone, Kalvi Tihumets stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hubert Jaama came out of the goal and Kalvi Tihumets tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Arvi Talts hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. In the 29th minute, Pavel Alviste left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The JK Kohala fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Hubert Jaama showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ennu Raas in the 33rd minute of the match. After having played for 35 minutes, Pavel Alviste managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. JK Kohala's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pavel Alviste was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 37th minute, JK Kohala's Arvi Talts ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Gerd Veiler. Gerd Veiler yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. After a defensive mix-up in Jalgpallikool's zone, Pavel Alviste stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gerd Veiler came out of the goal and Pavel Alviste tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rain Aruniit received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Gerd Veiler tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Pavel Alviste was the one to do the kick off. Pavel Alviste sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pavel Alviste took the ball and in the 55 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gerd Veiler. Gerd Veiler dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. During the 58th minute of the match Ivo Vooglaid completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Ivo Vooglaid a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 59th minute, Ivo Vooglaid hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 61 minutes into the game, one of Jalgpallikool:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Pavel Alviste struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Gerd Veiler didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for JK Kohala. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rain Aruniit in the 67th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gerd Veiler saved Jalgpallikool from getting behind. When Peeter Kosk fell near the penalty area in the 70th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored JK Kohala's protests and gave Peeter Kosk a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to JK Kohala getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Peeter Kosk hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Pavel Alviste managed to get in a good position for a shot. JK Kohala's supporters rose to their feet, but Pavel Alviste was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gerd Veiler breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gerd Veiler showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rain Aruniit, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. In the 80th minute Pavel Alviste shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gerd Veiler saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 83rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Jalgpallikool's goalkeeper Gerd Veiler, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Peeter Kosk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 86 minutes into the game, JK Kohala's Pavel Alviste nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gerd Veiler made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. Pavel Alviste sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Pavel Alviste came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the JK Kohala fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pavel Alviste couldn't finish the play. Arvi Talts fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gerd Veiler having to interfere. When the referee ended the match the JK Kohala players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
