When Enar Arulepp fell near the penalty area in the 11th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Martsa's protests and gave Enar Arulepp a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Martsa's Enar Arulepp got a free kick in the 12th minute. The supporters of FC Kopli Kiisud booed when Martsa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tauri Viigipuu didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 16 minutes, Rein Trepp managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Kopli Kiisud's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rein Trepp was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mark Urbalu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rein Trepp, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. If Harri Raudsoo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kaur Nõmmemaa made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Gert Luht sent off a good shot on target. After having played for 23 minutes, Rein Trepp managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Kopli Kiisud's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rein Trepp was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 41st minute of the game Gert Kaar made a throw-in which Tauri Viigipuu played forward. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gert Luht got free with Kaur Nõmmemaa in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Gert Luht came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Martsa fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gert Luht couldn't finish the play. Rain Leevike hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. An unexpected shot in the 48th minute by Gert Luht got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.
The wind increased when Rein Trepp made the kick off in the second half. Martsa's Mark Urbalu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bert Kaldur in the 56th minute of play. In the 57th minute, Martsa's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Rain Leevike fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. If Gert Luht had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rein Trepp fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mark Urbalu having to interfere. Bert Kaldur sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Harri Raudsoo struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Kaur Nõmmemaa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Martsa. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Rein Trepp managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Kopli Kiisud's supporters rose to their feet, but Rein Trepp was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. When the final whistle sounded FC Kopli Kiisud left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Martsa.
