The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 4 minutes into the match, Ivo Vooglaid had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jakob Merioja. Miliana's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ivo Vooglaid was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Virgo Vain fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gerd Veiler having to interfere. Kalvi Tihumets received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Jakob Merioja tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Ennu Raas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sergo Mustikas kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Gerd Veiler made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aare Viikmaa in the 17th minute of play. Ennu Raas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jakob Merioja having to interfere. 25 minutes into the match, Miliana's goalkeeper Jakob Merioja had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kalvi Tihumets. If Virgo Vain had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aare Viikmaa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Aare Viikmaa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Andri Lange charged in rather forcefully in the 41st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Andri Lange the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Andri Lange kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Virgo Vain in the 45th minute of play forced Jalgpallikool's goalkeeper Gerd Veiler to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ennu Raas to make the kick off. After 53 minutes of play, Jalgpallikool's Kalvi Tihumets made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jakob Merioja was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, Miliana's Hans Oll got a free kick in the 60th minute. Jann Ansip was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 61st played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. 64 minutes into the match, Jalgpallikool's Ennu Raas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jakob Merioja narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Alan Kraav lost his temper 68 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. Jann Ansip placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! 73 minutes into the match, Miliana's goal looked a bit too open when Kalvi Tihumets came free, but Jakob Merioja reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Miliana getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Virgo Vain hit a great ball. After having played for 83 minutes, Ennu Raas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Jalgpallikool's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ennu Raas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Jalgpallikool booed when Miliana was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Udo Kapten didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kalvi Tihumets fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jakob Merioja having to interfere. 98 minutes into the game, Udo Kapten was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Miliana's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Jalgpallikool the free kick. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
