When the match clock showed 4 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Kasimir Oher sped through FC Kopli Kiisud's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Kaur Nõmmemaa. Rein Trepp sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 8th minute, Rein Trepp reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Hubert Jaama. The goal made the score 1-1. Rein Trepp fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hubert Jaama having to interfere. In the 14th minute Kasimir Oher shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kaur Nõmmemaa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Kasimir Oher during the 17th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. JK Kohala's Hubert Jaama proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save JK Kohala from getting a goal against them. Pavel Alviste fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kaur Nõmmemaa having to interfere. After 21 played minutes JK Kohala got a freekick which was hit by Peeter Kosk. Kaur Nõmmemaa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kasimir Oher in the 23rd minute of the match. Bert Kaldur blasted a shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hubert Jaama having to make a save. FC Kopli Kiisud were furious when Jaan Ridal was red carded, 31 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 30th minute, one of FC Kopli Kiisud:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for FC Kopli Kiisud. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 37th minute of the game. One of FC Kopli Kiisud:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of JK Kohala:s goal. Kasimir Oher received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Kaur Nõmmemaa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pavel Alviste fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kaur Nõmmemaa having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

After 53 played minutes JK Kohala got a freekick which was hit by Rando Leist. Kasimir Oher got a throw-in 56 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Arvi Talts. After 58 minutes, Peeter Kosk mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the JK Kohala and the FC Kopli Kiisud players grew even worse after the yellow card. Peeter Kosk hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. Rein Trepp fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hubert Jaama having to interfere. In the 62nd match minute, JK Kohala was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kaspar Heikman to maneuver through the defense. Rain Aruniit made in the 63rd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by FC Kopli Kiisud's Lennart Valgma. The audience thought a goal was coming when Pavel Alviste got free with Kaur Nõmmemaa in the 66th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. FC Kopli Kiisud's Lennart Valgma quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. After 82 minutes of play JK Kohala's Peep Aruväli was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Peep Aruväli kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. Rain Leevike struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Hubert Jaama didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Kopli Kiisud. Kasimir Oher received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Kaur Nõmmemaa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Arvi Talts charged in rather forcefully in the 93rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Arvi Talts the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 93 played minutes JK Kohala got a freekick which was hit by Arvi Talts. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. JK Kohala had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
