The crowd rose to their feet as Martti Vaima kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Mark Urbalu. That made the score 1-0 in the 5 minute of play. When Harri Raudsoo came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Martsa fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Harri Raudsoo couldn't finish the play. Gert Luht blasted a shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tambet Mäe having to make a save. 13 minutes into the game, Harri Raudsoo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Tambet Mäe was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. FC Pärnu Pallurid's Tambet Mäe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gert Luht in the 20th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gert Luht in the 26th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tambet Mäe prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 29th minute Harri Raudsoo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tambet Mäe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to FC Pärnu Pallurid getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Hannes Viin hit a great ball. Tambet Mäe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Harri Raudsoo in the 38th minute of the match. Martsa's Mark Urbalu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to save Martsa from getting a goal against them.

52 minutes into the match, FC Pärnu Pallurid's goalkeeper Tambet Mäe had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gert Luht. In the 59th minute, Harri Raudsoo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gert Luht fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tambet Mäe having to interfere. An unexpected shot in the 61st minute by Harri Raudsoo got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After some careless play in the Martsa defense, Martti Vaima kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mark Urbalu. The Martsa fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mark Urbalu should have stopped the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Martti Vaima in the 69th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mark Urbalu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Gert Luht succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-3 in the 71st playminute. After 84 minutes, Enno Kallas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Pärnu Pallurid and the Martsa players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 85th minute, Enno Kallas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Otto Org blasted a shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mark Urbalu having to make a save. A collision led to Martsa getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Gert Luht hit a great ball. In the 88th minute of the match Arnold Rahumets shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Mark Urbalu showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 89th minute, Otto Org got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Martti Vaima received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Mark Urbalu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Martsa's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
