An unexpectedly hard shot by Rein Elujõe in the 10th minute of play forced Oru United's goalkeeper Rudolf Laanemaa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 16th minute, Julius Kuul made a precise shot to the right of Lembit Jusson. FC Must Lammas's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. After a defensive mix-up in FC Must Lammas's zone, Rein Loide stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lembit Jusson came out of the goal and Rein Loide tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Julius Kuul had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rein Loide sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Veiko Üllas fell near the penalty area in the 30th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Oru United's protests and gave Veiko Üllas a yellow card for diving instead. Veiko Üllas kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. FC Must Lammas's Rein Elujõe got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Kris Veiderma hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. 38 minutes into the match, FC Must Lammas's goal looked a bit too open when Rein Loide came free, but Lembit Jusson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 39th minute of the match Juhan Lipping sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Lembit Jusson skillfully saved the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tiit Kriska got free with Rudolf Laanemaa in the 46th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rein Elujõe to make the kick off. If Rein Elujõe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. But to his dismay, Rein Loide quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. 69 minutes into the match, FC Must Lammas's goalkeeper Lembit Jusson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rein Loide. If Rein Elujõe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. FC Must Lammas's Lembit Jusson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save FC Must Lammas from getting a goal against them. After 77 minutes, Tõnis Uudekülg mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Must Lammas and the Oru United players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Oru United booed when FC Must Lammas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tõnis Uudekülg didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 78th match minute, FC Must Lammas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tõnis Uudekülg to maneuver through the defense.
