The supporters of Monsoon booed when FC Tarvas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Robi Tombak didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 6th minute Kert Rea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Janno Udu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kert Rea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 9 played minutes FC Tarvas got a freekick which was hit by Heigo Loss. 10 minutes into the game, Otto Särg was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Tarvas's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Monsoon the free kick. Hardi Jahu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Eero Puusepp's late challenge caught a FC Tarvas's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eero Puusepp helped the player get up and apologised. After 23 played minutes Monsoon got a freekick which was hit by Eero Puusepp. In the 24th minute, Neeme Hunt sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Monsoon's Hendrik Jõgis didn't even have to move. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hardi Jahu got free with Hendrik Jõgis in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Robi Tombak received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Hendrik Jõgis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Lennart Hirse had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Janno Udu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lennart Hirse in the 43rd minute of the match. Heigo Loss got his second yellow card in the match during the 43rd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Hardi Jahu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Kert Rea's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Janno Udu was relentless in the 54th minute of the game. FC Tarvas's Hardi Jahu got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Lennart Hirse sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hendrik Jõgis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Otto Särg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 72 minutes, Hardi Jahu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Tarvas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hardi Jahu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Lennart Hirses short, quick shot in the 75thth minute got Janno Udu to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 76th minute, Bruno Härma had to leave the field with a concussion. After 77 played minutes FC Tarvas got a freekick which was hit by Robi Tombak. 78 minutes into the match, FC Tarvas's goalkeeper Janno Udu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lennart Hirse. Antti Teeäär was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 82nd minute. Monsoon's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. If Otto Särg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Otto Särg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lennart Hirse sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
