The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The audience thought a goal was coming when Elmut Viilup got free with Albert Rosin in the 5th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Janar Kink during the 8th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Janar Kink kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. Forever Young's Albert Rosin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Janar Kink in the 10th minute of play. In the 12th minute, Heiki Kuusik hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tom Varblane stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Üllar Võsomägi's shot from short distance in the 13th minute. Janar Kink received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Albert Rosin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Janar Kink fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Albert Rosin having to interfere. 22 minutes into the match, SK Meedla's Janar Kink sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Albert Rosin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Forever Young's zone, Elmut Viilup stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Albert Rosin came out of the goal and Elmut Viilup tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 33 minutes into the match, SK Meedla's Janar Kink sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Albert Rosin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 36th minute Janar Kink shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Albert Rosin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Albert Rosin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Elmut Viilup in the 40th minute. Albert Rosin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Janar Kink, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 44th minute, Elmut Viilup got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Elmut Viilup received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Albert Rosin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

56 minutes into the game, Jakob Eluvee was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SK Meedla's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Forever Young the free kick. The supporters of Forever Young booed when SK Meedla was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jakob Eluvee didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Forever Young's zone, Jakob Eluvee stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Albert Rosin came out of the goal and Jakob Eluvee tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Janar Kink struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Albert Rosin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SK Meedla. Heiki Kuusik kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. In the 70th minute, Taimo Kottise sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and SK Meedla's Tom Varblane didn't even have to move. After having played for 73 minutes, Jakob Eluvee managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SK Meedla's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jakob Eluvee was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Albert Rosin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Janar Kink, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Elmut Viilup came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the SK Meedla fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Elmut Viilup couldn't finish the play. Albert Rosin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Janar Kink's shot from short distance in the 93rd minute.
