Sumusaare's Mati Laaser proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 5th minute of the match, managed to save Sumusaare from getting a goal against them. 6 minutes into the match, Sumusaare's goal looked a bit too open when Kaur Noobel came free, but Mati Laaser reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 13 minutes, Taavi Lõiv managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sumusaare's supporters crossed their fingers, but Taavi Lõiv was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mati Laaser made a fantastic save in the 14th minute, when Uku Uibo sent off a good shot on target. In the 16th minute of the match, Uku Uibo got a very nice opportunity to score, but Mati Laaser was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Kaur Noobel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mati Laaser made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kaur Noobel in the 40th minute of play. When Uku Uibo came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the FC Ahja fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Uku Uibo couldn't finish the play. Kaur Noobel kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. Kaur Noobel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The wind increased when Kerdo Külaase made the kick off in the second half. Kaur Noobel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Mati Laaser tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 56 minutes of play, FC Ahja's Kaur Noobel made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mati Laaser was left in no man's land by his defense there! 60 minutes into the match, Sumusaare's goal looked a bit too open when Uku Uibo came free, but Mati Laaser reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 71 minutes of play, FC Ahja's Kaur Noobel made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mati Laaser took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sander Viil, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kusti Toom fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mati Laaser having to interfere. Kusti Toom charged in rather forcefully in the 81st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kusti Toom the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to FC Ahja getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Kusti Toom hit a great ball. Taavi Lõiv might have been able to make a better finish in the 82nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Roland Täll. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Taavi Lõiv ran back to his position shaking his head. If Uku Uibo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Henrik Pahasoo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Sumusaare's zone, Kaur Noobel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mati Laaser came out of the goal and Kaur Noobel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. FC Ahja fully deserved thier win.
