Vambola Kahest received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Mihkel Aibast tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mihkel Aibast stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Aigar Suuroja's shot from short distance in the 9th minute. The audience was convinced that Aigar Suuroja's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mihkel Aibast was relentless in the 12th minute of the game. Poanse FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 22nd minute Kardo Laanemaa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ken Loome saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mihkel Aibast came out of the goal and Aigar Suuroja tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gustav Raie fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mihkel Aibast having to interfere. Poanse FC's Vambola Kahest got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Aigar Suuroja sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Aigar Suuroja stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Vambola Kahest got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Poanse FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gustav Raie was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 88th minute of the match Joosep Kipper shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Mihkel Aibast showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 88th minute, Aigar Suuroja got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Poanse FC's Vambola Kahest got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Poanse FC were furious when Lennart Veermäe was red carded, 92 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After 92 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Poanse FC! The Kirikumae JK support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
