In the 14th minute, Gustav Raie got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 16 minutes, Timo Rannus managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Poanse FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Timo Rannus was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Roland Täll took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aigar Suuroja, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 26 minutes, Lennart Veermäe mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Poanse FC and the FC Ahja players grew even worse after the yellow card. FC Ahja's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Aigar Suuroja was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. The FC Ahja players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Poanse FC were winning 0-1.

The wind increased when Aigar Suuroja made the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute, Aigar Suuroja got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Aigar Suuroja who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 57thth minute tested the skills of Roland Täll when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Adolf Hiiob kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. Ken Loome showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Uku Uibo, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. In the 63rd minute, Johannes Vananurk hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Roland Täll made an important save on a dangerous shot by Aigar Suuroja in the 65th minute. When the match was over Poanse FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than FC Ahja throughout the match.
