In the 8th minute, Alex Valgur got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 14 played minutes Vikings 1993 got a freekick which was hit by Alan Ereb. If Alex Valgur had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mati Laaser showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Priit Köök, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Priit Köök managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vikings 1993's supporters rose to their feet, but Priit Köök was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mati Laaser breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Alex Valgur came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Vikings 1993 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alex Valgur couldn't finish the play. Priit Köök received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Mati Laaser tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Alex Valgur had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match clock showed 39 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Alex Valgur sped through Sumusaare's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Mati Laaser. Mati Laaser showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Priit Köök in the 46th minute of the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Alex Valgur to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Alex Valgur reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Mati Laaser. The goal made the score 0-3. Mati Laaser took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alex Valgur, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Robert Allika fired away a difficult shot at goal in the 65th minute. He almost succeeded, but the ball went over. It was a very nice shot. After a defensive mix-up in Vikings 1993's zone, Kerdo Külaase stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Endel Toom came out of the goal and Kerdo Külaase tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Kerdo Külaase during the 68th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Kerdo Külaase kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Taavi Lõiv managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sumusaare's supporters rose to their feet, but Taavi Lõiv was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Endel Toom breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Alex Valgur sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Alex Valgur had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 89th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sumusaare's goalkeeper Mati Laaser, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 92 minutes of play, Vikings 1993's Priit Köök made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mati Laaser was left in no man's land by his defense there! The Vikings 1993 supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Vikings 1993 would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
