Spectators: 7499 (Terracing: 5625, Seating: 1725, VIP seats: 149) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Hando Kaal started the match with the kick off. Aapo Kaasma made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gunnar Hindpere in the 8th minute of play. Oliver Heinola sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 14th minute, Hando Kaal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Gunnar Hindpere had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Through an outstanding action, after 20 minutes, Aapo Kaasma successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 23 minutes into the match, FC Sunrise Starz's goalkeeper Aapo Kaasma had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Oliver Heinola. The audience thought a goal was coming when Oliver Heinola got free with Aapo Kaasma in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gunnar Hindpere received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Aapo Kaasma tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Oliver Heinola's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 37thth minute, Aapo Kaasma skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gunnar Hindpere in the 38th minute of play forced FC Sunrise Starz's goalkeeper Aapo Kaasma to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gunnar Hindpere received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Aapo Kaasma tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 41 played minutes FC Sunrise Starz got a freekick which was hit by Hando Kaal. In the 43rd minute, Oliver Heinola made a precise shot to the right of Aapo Kaasma. FC Sunrise Starz's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Aapo Kaasma showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gunnar Hindpere, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gunnar Hindpere to strike the kick off in the second half. Gunnar Hindpere received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Aapo Kaasma tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Gunnar Hindpere managed to get in a good position for a shot. Palo's supporters rose to their feet, but Gunnar Hindpere was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aapo Kaasma breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Palo booed when FC Sunrise Starz was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Heiki Lehepuu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kalmer Reikop took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 74th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Aapo Kaasma. FC Sunrise Starz's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. When Eedi Kõlar fell near the penalty area in the 75th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Sunrise Starz's protests and gave Eedi Kõlar a yellow card for diving instead. In the 75th minute, Eedi Kõlar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Aapo Kaasma came out of the goal in the 76th minute to try and stop a shot by Palo's Gunnar Hindpere. But to his dismay, Gunnar Hindpere quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. When the match had gone on for 79 minutes, Oliver Heinola put it in 3-0 from a short distance just to the right of Aapo Kaasma. Kaspar Hiir got his second yellow card in the match during the 82nd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 85th minute, FC Sunrise Starz's Evald Annette seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Evald Annette the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of FC Sunrise Starz protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Evald Annette had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 85th minute, one of FC Sunrise Starz:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for FC Sunrise Starz. In the 87th minute there was a penalty for Palo. Kalmer Reikop stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Aapo Kaasma. 4-0. Aapo Kaasma came out of the goal in the 94th minute to try and stop a shot by Palo's Rain Õlg. But to his dismay, Rain Õlg quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. 98 minutes into the match, FC Sunrise Starz's goal looked a bit too open when Rain Õlg came free, but Aapo Kaasma reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Palo getting a freekick after 99 minutes play. Leo Ülevain hit a great ball. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Palo had played much better football throughout.
