Hando Kaal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 2nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Agu Kirsimäe having to interfere. Aapo Kaasma acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 5th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Holger Kasemaa. The audience thought a goal was coming when Härmo Pabin got free with Aapo Kaasma in the 7th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Eiko Noorhani was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 12th minute. FC Ryzer Quill's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Härmo Pabin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Aapo Kaasma tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eiko Noorhani in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aapo Kaasma saved FC Sunrise Starz from getting behind. Härmo Pabin spun around in front of the goal 26 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of FC Sunrise Starz's goal. Härmo Pabin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Aapo Kaasma tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aapo Kaasma made a fantastic save in the 37th minute, when Härmo Pabin sent off a good shot on target. Eiko Noorhani was extremely unlucky when he, in the 40th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Aapo Kaasma showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eiko Noorhani, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. After a rather tough play, FC Sunrise Starz's Ilmar Eidast got a free kick in the 42nd minute. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Eiko Noorhani in the 56th minute of play forced FC Sunrise Starz's goalkeeper Aapo Kaasma to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aapo Kaasma took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eiko Noorhani, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 65 minutes into the game, one of FC Sunrise Starz:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Härmo Pabin's late challenge caught a FC Sunrise Starz's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Härmo Pabin helped the player get up and apologised. If Eiko Noorhani had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aapo Kaasma didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Härmo Pabin went, in the 82nd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. After 86 minutes, Heiki Lehepuu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Sunrise Starz and the FC Ryzer Quill players grew even worse after the yellow card. Heiki Lehepuu hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. Härmo Pabin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 99th minute.
