After having played for 9 minutes, Juhan Annama managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Poltsamaa's supporters crossed their fingers, but Juhan Annama was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 11 minutes into the match, FC Korkvere's goal looked a bit too open when Alvin Kaldur came free, but Ennu Paukson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alvin Kaldur in the 13th minute of play forced FC Korkvere's goalkeeper Ennu Paukson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 13 played minutes FC Korkvere got a freekick which was hit by Eero Maasik. Juhan Annama fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ennu Paukson having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Raimond Võsa in the 28th minute of play forced Poltsamaa's goalkeeper Kaljo Liit to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Poltsamaa's Juhan Annama in the 33rd minute got a chance for a shot 33rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC Korkvere's goalie prevented a goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Juhan Annama in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ennu Paukson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 42nd minute Juhan Annama shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ennu Paukson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 43rd match minute, FC Korkvere was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Raimond Võsa to maneuver through the defense. In the 46th minute, Juhan Annama got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 47 played minutes FC Korkvere got a freekick which was hit by Heiko Õispuu. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Alvin Kaldur was the one to do the kick off. Ennu Paukson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Juhan Annama in the 61st minute. Alvin Kaldur was extremely unlucky when he, in the 63rd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Paul Esken hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Juhan Annama got free with Ennu Paukson in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. FC Korkvere's Ennu Paukson tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Juhan Annama in the 84thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Poltsamaa's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Korkvere the free kick. Leo Ellermaa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of FC Korkvere booed when Poltsamaa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tarmo Põlluste didn't get a good kick on the ball. The FC Korkvere fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Poltsamaa were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
