With an extended leg and a bit of luck Magnus Lepanurm prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Magnus Lepanurm made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alvin Kaldur in the 44th minute of play. Norman Are hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Alo Loorens was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, FC Pilistvere Spartak's Norman Are got a free kick in the 54th minute. 55 minutes into the match, Juhan Annama notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of FC Pilistvere Spartak's Magnus Lepanurm. Magnus Lepanurm was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Alo Loorens fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kaljo Liit having to interfere. In the 81st minute Juhan Annama shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Magnus Lepanurm saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Juhan Annama struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Magnus Lepanurm didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Poltsamaa. Alvin Kaldur sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 97 minutes into the match, Alvin Kaldur had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Magnus Lepanurm. FC Pilistvere Spartak's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alvin Kaldur was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. Poltsamaa walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
