In the 16thth minute of the game Rein Oll who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Korkvere's Ennu Paukson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ivar Lööper during the 17th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 17th match minute, Ahja Ajax was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ivar Lööper to maneuver through the defense. Leo Ellermaa might have been able to make a better finish in the 19th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Heldur Mänd. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Leo Ellermaa ran back to his position shaking his head. After 23 played minutes FC Korkvere got a freekick which was hit by Leo Ellermaa. A hard shot by Ilmar Rõõmussaar from long distance, 24 minutes into the match, got Ennu Paukson's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. After having played for 31 minutes, Rein Oll managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ahja Ajax's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rein Oll was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Eero Maasik sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 35 minutes of play, FC Korkvere's Leo Ellermaa made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Heldur Mänd was left in no man's land by his defense there! Aigar Kalde hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Through an outstanding action, after 68 minutes, Heldur Mänd successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 70th minute of the match FC Korkvere got a corner. Ahja Ajax's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Heiko Õispuu ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on FC Korkvere's corner Heiko Õispuu fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Heldur Mänd quite easily take care of the ball. If Eero Maasik had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Rein Oll came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Ahja Ajax fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rein Oll couldn't finish the play. In the 83rd minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Korkvere's goalkeeper Ennu Paukson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 89 minutes into the match, FC Korkvere's goal looked a bit too open when Tanel Loomus came free, but Ennu Paukson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. FC Korkvere's Ennu Paukson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rein Oll in the 90th minute of play. FC Korkvere played a much better game than Ahja Ajax and deserved their victory. The Ahja Ajax players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
