Uuno Kuusemetsa was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 28th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. 30 minutes into the match, Kaupo Laadi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Innar Rohtmäe. Chakra's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Kaupo Laadi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. With 36 minutes on the clock, Edgar Toim commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Ilmar Tomson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aivo Aal having to interfere.
