The tension between the JK Põltsamaa Sport and the Chakra players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Chakra booed when JK Põltsamaa Sport was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jörgen Kuningas didn't get a good kick on the ball. JK Põltsamaa Sport's supporters rose to their feet, but Alo Teras was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post.
