In the 40th minute Olav Vint shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tambet Püss saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 45th minute, Habaja FS's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Oliver Tuulemaa fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Taaniel Hirv stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Gerd Helemäe managed to get in a good position for a shot. Habaja FS's supporters rose to their feet, but Gerd Helemäe was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tambet Püss breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Habaja FS's Endel Karbo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Taaniel Hirv in the 54th minute of play. Tambet Püss was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Gerd Helemäe showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-1 in the 60 minute of play. In the 63rd match minute, Habaja FS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Julius Nõmmoja to maneuver through the defense. Antti Laaneoks struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. If Ardo Pere had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of JK Taebla booed when Habaja FS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mati Põldroos didn't get a good kick on the ball.
