Spectators: 6530 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 30) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Edmund Naaskel started the match with the kick off. Udo Rammul came out of the goal in the 3rd minute to try and stop a shot by Vanassaare's Mart Sepp. But to his dismay, Mart Sepp quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After 8 played minutes Bananaslips got a freekick which was hit by Edmund Naaskel. Alan Ladva was out of position in the 10 minute of play, and Edmund Naaskel capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Edmund Naaskel really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. Edmund Naaskel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Haarald Rõuk hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. If Mart Sepp had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lauri Algaja sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Edmund Naaskel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ermo Neumann hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Mart Sepp received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Udo Rammul tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Lauri Algaja had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bananaslips's Udo Rammul played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mart Sepp in the 37th minute of play. Vambola Hindremäe hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Vanassaare's Alan Ladva proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to save Vanassaare from getting a goal against them. 46 minutes into the match, Vanassaare's goalkeeper Alan Ladva had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Raimo Mäetaguse. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mart Sepp made a kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Raimo Mäetaguse managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bananaslips's supporters rose to their feet, but Raimo Mäetaguse was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alan Ladva breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Edmund Naaskel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bananaslips's Raimo Mäetaguse got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Udo Rammul made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lauri Algaja in the 66th minute. Lauri Algaja struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Udo Rammul didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vanassaare. Udo Rammul made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mart Sepp in the 77th minute of play. After 81 played minutes Bananaslips got a freekick which was hit by Uku Kalenik. Udo Rammul acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 82nd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Ermo Neumann. If Mart Sepp had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Uku Kalenik during the 87th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 87th minute, Uku Kalenik hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ermo Neumann was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 88th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Mart Sepp recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 92 minutes into the match, Bananaslips's goalkeeper Udo Rammul had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lauri Algaja. The supporters of Vanassaare booed when Bananaslips was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tambet Liib didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mart Sepp sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lauri Algaja fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Udo Rammul having to interfere. Bananaslips succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Vanassaare had controlled the match.
