Vanassaare's Alan Ladva proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save Vanassaare from getting a goal against them. In a very dangerous position, a player in FC beatraxx fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 41st minute. Penalty! Elari Savi went to the wrong direction when Ermo Neumann was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Eikki Niinemets's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Alan Ladva firmly grabbed it by the left post. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Vahur Pihlakas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Lauri Algaja sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 56 minutes into the game, Enar Oese was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC beatraxx's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Vanassaare the free kick. After 56 played minutes FC beatraxx got a freekick which was hit by Enar Oese. Ermo Muusik struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Elari Savi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vanassaare. Lauri Algaja showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-1. When Lauri Algaja came up free with the goalie in the 97th minute, the Vanassaare fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lauri Algaja couldn't finish the play. The FC beatraxx fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Vanassaare were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
