After 5 minutes, Paul Mikiver mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the JK Taebla and the Vanassaare players grew even worse after the yellow card. When Lauri Talu fell near the penalty area in the 8th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored JK Taebla's protests and gave Lauri Talu a yellow card for diving instead. In the 8th minute, Lauri Talu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, JK Taebla's Aigar Arak got a free kick in the 9th minute. In the 14th minute, Vanassaare's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Oliver Tuulemaa fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Vanassaare's Alan Ladva proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to save Vanassaare from getting a goal against them. In the 14th minute, JK Taebla's Taaniel Hirv ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Alan Ladva. Alan Ladva yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Lauri Algaja managed to get in a good position for a shot. After a rather tough play, Vanassaare's Haarald Rõuk got a free kick in the 27th minute. In the 32nd match minute, Vanassaare was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ermo Neumann to maneuver through the defense. Aigar Arak charged in rather forcefully in the 38th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Aigar Arak the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Tambet Püss showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mart Sepp in the 47th minute of the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mart Sepp to make the kick off. Mart Sepp received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Tambet Püss tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Vanassaare's Mart Sepp in 59 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Tambet Püss guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. Tambet Püss took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mart Sepp, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lauri Algaja in the 62nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tambet Püss saved JK Taebla from getting behind. After 66 minutes of play JK Taebla's Aigar Arak was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. The supporters of Vanassaare booed when JK Taebla was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aigar Arak didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Mart Sepp came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the Vanassaare fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mart Sepp couldn't finish the play. Mart Sepp sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 73 played minutes Mart Sepp rounded JK Taebla's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-1. Tambet Püss made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mart Sepp in the 77th minute of play. Tambet Püss took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mart Sepp, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Vanassaare's Lauri Algaja got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Oliver Tuulemaa struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Alan Ladva didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for JK Taebla. Tambet Püss showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mart Sepp, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. In the 92nd minute, JK Taebla's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Lauri Algaja fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. If Mart Sepp had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 95 minutes, Taaniel Hirv mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the JK Taebla and the Vanassaare players grew even worse after the yellow card. Taaniel Hirv kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. JK Taebla's defense didn't have a chance, in the 97th minute, when Mart Sepp scored to the left of an out of position Tambet Püss, making the score, 1-3. Vanassaare's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
