An unexpectedly hard shot by Olav Vint in the 41st minute of play forced FC M!HU's goalkeeper Aivo Aal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ivo Lepik in the 42nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Endel Karbo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Endel Karbo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ivo Lepik, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Gerd Helemäe made the kick off in the second half. Habaja FS's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Haarald Neppi in the 53rd minute. After a defensive mix-up in FC M!HU's zone, Gerd Helemäe stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aivo Aal came out of the goal and Gerd Helemäe tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A sloppy throw-in by Jörgen Ohaka in the 57th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Habaja FS's Ivo Vahtra. Ivo Lepik received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Endel Karbo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Habaja FS were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
