The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Olaf Velling showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aivo Lossmann in the 9th minute of the match. Jan Juss hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. In the 18th match minute, Korgemae FS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Üllar Kaldvee to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Korgemae FS getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Roland Kaljumäe hit a great ball. In the 24th minute, Martti Kingisepp ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Olaf Velling was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. 29 minutes into the game, Martti Kingisepp cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Olaf Velling was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Mark Kevad scored 0-4 in the 38th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Olaf Velling, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 42nd minute Martti Kingisepp shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Olaf Velling saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aivo Lossmann in the 43rd minute of play forced Korgemae FS's goalkeeper Olaf Velling to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 46 minutes of play, FC Halte's Aivo Lossmann made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Olaf Velling was left in no man's land by his defense there! The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-5.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Aivo Lossmann was the one to do the kick off. When Aivo Lossmann came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the FC Halte fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aivo Lossmann couldn't finish the play. Olaf Velling stood somewhat misplaced when Martti Kingisepp came free in front of goal and shot 0-6 to the left of him in the 53 minute. Aivo Lossmann sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Olaf Velling made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aivo Lossmann in the 63rd minute of play. If Martti Kingisepp had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Martti Kingisepp's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Olaf Velling was relentless in the 79th minute of the game. In the 84th minute the ball was on its way in behind Korgemae FS's goalkeeper Olaf Velling, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 86 minutes had been played when some careless play by Korgemae FS's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Mark Kevad was slow to take the kick. During this time FC Halte's players had a chance to rest. Korgemae FS's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Aivo Lossmann 90 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-10. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Martti Kingisepp in the 95th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Olaf Velling prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 96th minute of the match FC Halte got a corner. Korgemae FS's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Mark Kevad ran over to the corner to take the kick. FC Halte's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
