Spectators: 7968 (Terracing: 5977, Seating: 1833, VIP seats: 158) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Edgar Üleoja started the match with the kick off. In the 2nd minute, Kris Pilvistu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 3 played minutes Talvikese got a freekick which was hit by Rauno Pärjasaar. In the 10th minute Edgar Üleoja shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eerik Ojakäär saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Edgar Üleoja sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eerik Ojakäär stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Vaino Ojasaar's shot from short distance in the 21st minute. 22 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Talvikese's Edgar Üleoja fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. A collision led to Talvikese getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Juhan Lipp hit a great ball. Olari Oll struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Enar Tõnuri didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for White Lion. Jann Raudsaar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Enar Tõnuri tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eerik Ojakäär showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vaino Ojasaar, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. 36 minutes into the match, Talvikese's Edgar Üleoja sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Eerik Ojakäär narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 41 minutes into the match, White Lion's goal looked a bit too open when Vaino Ojasaar came free, but Eerik Ojakäär reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Edgar Üleoja struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Eerik Ojakäär didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Talvikese. If Edgar Üleoja had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vaino Ojasaar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eerik Ojakäär having to interfere. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Üllar Neppi made the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Vaino Ojasaar got free with Eerik Ojakäär in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Edgar Üleoja had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 64th minute the ball was on its way in behind Talvikese's goalkeeper Enar Tõnuri, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Enar Tõnuri made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Üllar Neppi in the 74th minute of play. Kalju Rahu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. White Lion's Eerik Ojakäär played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edgar Üleoja in the 81st minute of play. Vaino Ojasaar could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 92nd minute of the match, but Eerik Ojakäär made a huge save. In the 93rdth minute of the game Edgar Üleoja who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but White Lion's Eerik Ojakäär was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ando Roosipuu's late challenge caught a Talvikese's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ando Roosipuu helped the player get up and apologised. Ando Roosipuu kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. 97 minutes into the match, White Lion's goalkeeper Eerik Ojakäär had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Vaino Ojasaar. Despite being the better team, Talvikese failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
