FC Kuutsi's supporters crossed their fingers, but Juss Maarjamaa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Konrad Niinemets kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. If Kalju Ambros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Peedu Kaljus fell near the penalty area in the 16th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Liverpool's protests and gave Peedu Kaljus a yellow card for diving instead. In the 16th match minute, Liverpool was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Peedu Kaljus to maneuver through the defense. FC Kuutsi's attentive Risto Hark managed to snatch the ball when Valmar Hellenurm made a throw-in in the 18th minute of the game. Ingmar Käps made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Härmo Lepassaar in the 22nd minute of play. In the 24th minute Andro Õnnepalu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tambet Liiva saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 59th minute, Vaino Aas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 63 minutes into the game, Ingmar Kangur was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Liverpool's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Kuutsi the free kick. In the 63rd minute, Ingmar Kangur hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, FC Kuutsi's Vaino Aas got a free kick in the 68th minute. With an all-out effort, FC Kuutsi's Tambet Liiva threw himself towards the right post 80 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Kaspar Annimäe, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Ingmar Käps showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ingmar Kangur, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. Tambet Liiva made an important save on a dangerous shot by Vaino Aas in the 86th minute. After a defensive mix-up in FC Kuutsi's zone, Kalju Ambros stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ingmar Käps came out of the goal and Kalju Ambros tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 95th minute, Härmo Lepassaar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
