With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hans Ellermaa in the 7th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gabriel Indus saved Atlético C.F. from getting behind. Atlético C.F.'s Ruben Cutts got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 12th match minute, Atlético C.F. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Väino Luts to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Hirmutavad Hussarid booed when Atlético C.F. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Väino Luts didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hardi Annus who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 15thth minute tested the skills of Angel Basajaun when he managed to save the team from getting behind. If Kerem Gazzal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 23rd minute Kerem Gazzal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gabriel Indus saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gabriel Indus made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hans Ellermaa in the 24th minute of play. Kerem Gazzal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gabriel Indus having to interfere. Angel Basajaun took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ruben Cutts, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Atlético C.F.'s Hardi Annus in the 28th minute got a chance for a shot 28th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After the first half Hirmutavad Hussarid were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Hardi Annus to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hardi Annus in the 59th minute of play forced Hirmutavad Hussarid's goalkeeper Angel Basajaun to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Atlético C.F.'s Gabriel Indus proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to save Atlético C.F. from getting a goal against them. Hirmutavad Hussarid's Egon Lehepuu got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 65 minutes into the match, Atlético C.F.'s goalkeeper Gabriel Indus had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Egon Lehepuu. In the 67th minute, Zygmunt Sowa left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Atlético C.F. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. The audience was convinced that Hardi Annus's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Angel Basajaun was relentless in the 84th minute of the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Enar Lend during the 87th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Enar Lend kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match.
